Method Man Makes Appearance on ‘The Masked Singer’ As a Blueberry Muffin

The Masked Singer is a talent competition, where celebrities cover popular songs while in costume while their identities remain concealed. Once the performance is completed, judges have to guess who is singing under the mask. Past celebrities who have appeared on The Masked Singer, include Gladys Knight, NSYNC member Joey Patone and T-Pain. Method Man is the latest celebrity to be revealed on The Masked Singer.

Method Man Appears on ‘The Masked Singer’

The Wu-Tang member was present for the April 7 episode of the program. The famed Wu-Tang member appeared dressed as a blueberry muffin, appropriately named Stud Muffin.

The Staten Island native made it through two performances before being eliminated. In his debut appearance, he performed “Jump Around,” by House of Pain which advanced him to the second round of the competition. For his second act, he performed “Poison” by Bell Biv Devoe. Which is a total change from his usual gritty, harcore lyrics that fans have become accustomed to.

Method Man and Redman are one of those rap duos who will forever be linked with each other. However, the duo’s absence from the studio, had many fans wondering if the two had a falling out. During a recent interview, Redman didn’t exactly say that he and Method Man’s relationship is fractured. However, the famed artist did confirm that he and Method Man’s relationship isn’t the same anymore.

“We do shows and we come back home,” he explained during a recent interview on the Julian Dorey podcast.

Redman also added that he doesn’t really have relationships with any of his rap contemporaries.

“I don’t hang out with a lot of rappers at all,” he added. “This is work, this is home. We’re very inclusive with our movement. Once we’re off the road, we’re like, ‘Alright. so You got a family to deal with, I got shit I gotta do.’ My circle is very small’
