In April, Nas and his label, Mass Appeal teased a rollout for a new series called “Legend Has It,” hinting that the record label would be dropping seven albums this year, from legendary rappers. On April 16, Nas confirmed the rumors with a new trailer confirming who the seven artists are. The list is star-studded, to say the least.

*RETURN OF A MYSTERY ARTIST*
2025 appears to be a busy year for Raekwon. In addition to a new album on Mass Appeal, he will also be hitting the road. He and his group the Wu-Tang Clan will be hitting this road this summer to go on their final tour along with Run The Jewels.
Ahead of the tour, famed Wu-Tang member RZA called the final tour a “special moment,” for the group.
He also added, that doing one final tour for their longtime fans, was also a point of emphasis. Noting that attendees of the tour will have the opportunity to hear material that has not been released.
“Most importantly to touch our fans and those who have supported us throughout the years,” RZA added.
“On this tour, we’re playing songs we’ve never played before to our audience me and our production team have designed a Wu-Tang show unlike anything you’ve ever seen. And to top it off, we’ve got the amazing Run the Jewels on our side.”
2025 seems to be the resurgence of old-school emcees returning to the studio. In March, Will Smith dropped his first album in 20 years, Base on A True Story. Although it seemed that many people were excited for the return of the Fresh Prince, the number suggested otherwise as it failed to chart on the Billboard 200.
