This isn’t your parents or grandparents’ Motown Records any more. With artist like Lil Yachty, OG Maco, BJ The Chicago Kid, and now Rich Homie Quan Motown Records has a much different look and sound of the iconic label of yesteryear . Rich Homie Quan is an artist that has been developing a buzz since his 2013 hit single “Some Type Of Way” on T.I.G. Entertainment. Quan has had legal issues with T.I.G. Entertainment over unpaid royalties that was settled in August of 2016. Rich Homie Quan is ready to put all that behind him now and he is excited about working with the iconic Motown Record on pushing his music career forward.
In a statement Rich Homie Quan says; “First and foremost I would like to Thank God for this amazing opportunity. “I’m excited to be a part of a building that has such great history in music. I look forward to this new chapter in my life and giving my fans the best I have to offer.”
Rich Homie Quan’s album “Rich As In Spirit” is due out this Spring.
