The Hip Hop community, fans tuned into the beef, and aspiring emcees are buzzing after producer Metro Boomin fired shots at longtime collaborator turned nemesis Drake with a new beat titled “BBL Drizzy.”
The track’s title itself is a clear reference to a recent jab by Rick Ross on his diss track “Champagne Papi,” where he playfully called Drake “BBL Drake” in reference to the Brazilian Butt Lift surgery some speculate the rapper may have undergone.
In what could be a first, Metro dropped “BBL Drizzy” on Soundcloud and asked aspiring rappers to drop verses on the beat, offering the best rapper a track produced by Metro Boomin himself.

Drake, who shot at Metro on his diss track ‘Push Ups’ (“Metro Shut Your Ass Up and Make Some Drums”) himself has yet to respond to the speculation. He did, however, leave a cryptic comment under a DJ Akademiks post referencing the beat, simply saying “You just cheffed a beat about my a**?”
Whether this is a humorous deflection or the start of another full-blown rap war remains to be seen. One thing’s for sure, Hip-Hop fans are eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this saga whether its Drake responding on wax or Metro sitting down and making more drums.
