Jay-Z’s Accuser Doubles Down on Assault Claims
After Doe and Buzbee dropped the case, Jay-Z brought about his own legal action. Slamming Jane Doe with a defamation case, accusing her of fabricating the story. However, according to TMZ, Doe dropping the case is not necessarily an admission of guilt. She is still sticking to her story and according to the outlet, she is terrified of the rap star.
“The Jane Doe who sued Jay-Z and Diddy for allegedly raping her when she was a 13-year-old girl doubled down on her claims in new legal docs obtained by TMZ … and she says HOV is trying to bully her into saying her accusations are bogus,” TMZ writes.
“In the docs, the woman claims she was recently approached outside her home and cornered by two people who told her they were investigators working for one of Jay’s lawyers. She claims the people tried to get her to sign an affidavit stating that her rape claims against Jay-Z were false … but she refused.”
Jane Doe’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, also chimed on on the lawsuit being brought up by the Roc Nation boss. Buzbee called the lawsuit “frivolous” and also claimed that Jay-Z tried to extort him by collecting false testimonies from former employees.
“Carter’s lawyer also came to Houston. And met with the local authorities and tried to get criminal charges started against me. (That went nowhere.),” Buzbee wrote on his social media account.
“They then tracked down and harassed former employees and clients from as far back as 20 years. They were caught on tape offering up to ten grand to former clients to sue me.”
