Blueface didn’t even let the ink dry on his release papers before jumping back into the spotlight.
In his first post-release interview, Blueface sat down with DDG to break down his 21 months behind bars, the now-viral prison photos showing him bulked up, and why Jake Paul is officially on his hit list. The internet had plenty to say about his dramatic size upgrade, but Blueface made it clear the transformation wasn’t spiritual—it was strategic.
“I was eating mashed potatoes and oatmeal from commissary every day until I threw up,” he joked. “I had fades to give out, and the extra weight helped me land KOs.”
Now sitting at 225 pounds, Blueface says he’s willing to cut down if it means stepping back into the ring—specifically against the YouTuber-turned-fighter who’s made a career out of calling out rappers, influencers, and retired athletes.
“Jake Paul,” he said without hesitation, calling out the Problem Child just weeks after Paul’s Netflix bout with Gervonta “Tank” Davis was scrapped. (Davis was hit with a lawsuit from an ex, and Paul wasted no time flaming him online.) Blueface framed the challenge as both a flex and a warning: “I’ll meet him halfway.”
This isn’t some random stunt for Blueface, either. He’s actually been in the ring before—most notably at BKFC 19 in 2021, where he beat TikTok personality Kane Trujillo by unanimous decision. His form surprised a lot of people. One person who wasn’t impressed? Jake Paul.
Paul publicly brushed him off, saying rappers-turned-boxers aren’t real draws because “all they do is go to the studio and do drugs.” Blueface didn’t forget.
“It’s funny he says that coming from the entertainment side too,” Blueface fired back. “That’s real shallow. That’s like somebody coming into rap sounding funny and I clown them even though that’s how I came up. He’s a total clown for that. He looks like an idiot.”
So here we are: two entertainers-turned-fighters with egos, cameras, and something to prove. Jake Paul has spent years calling rappers out for attention. Now one finally called him back—with gloves already on.
Your move, Jake.
