A$AP Rocky is setting the record straight on where he stands with Drake.

In a recent appearance on The Ebro Show, the Harlem rapper made it clear that while there’s no “real smoke” between the two, their relationship is effectively done. Rocky explained that he no longer associates with Drake, despite the two once being friends.

According to Rocky, the fallout stems from issues involving women, something he feels should no longer be a factor at their stage in life. He suggested that with maturity should come growth, adding that continuing to involve oneself in that type of drama feels unnecessary and, in his words, “soft.”

Rocky’s comments frame the situation less as an active beef and more as a personal line he’s chosen to draw. While he downplayed the idea of an ongoing rivalry, he made it clear that whatever bond once existed between him and Drake is firmly in the past.
