Toosii has clarified his football future, revealing that he is no longer committed to playing for the Syracuse Orange.
The update came after Syracuse head coach Fran Brown addressed Toosii’s status during an interview on Cuse Sports Talk on January 22. Brown initially stated that Toosii was not coming to play football, before walking the comment back slightly by adding, “I’m not really sure if that will happen,” while noting the program continues to add players and that a potential walk-on scenario had been discussed.
Shortly after Brown’s comments began circulating online, Toosii responded directly to a user on X, stating in a now-deleted post that he had “actually decommitted.” The response appeared to put an end to speculation surrounding his involvement with the program.
While Toosii has shown interest in football alongside his music career, his statement makes it clear that, for now, his path no longer includes suiting up for Syracuse.

"He's still thinking about it … I'm not really sure if that will happen because we're getting more and more players on the football team."
