On Sunday (February 2), the Department of Justice (DOJ) released another batch of findings in the Epstein Files. As part of the Transparency Act. And to the surprise of many, one of the names that was revealed was rap star, Pusha T. In the files from an anonymous tip line, one woman describes the Virginia artist as a “handler” on the Island.
Drake’s Social Media Activity Turns Heads Amid Pusha T Drama
Push’s name surfacing led to a lot of reactions around the hip-hop community. One video resurfaced of rap executive J. Prince stating that he urged Drake to fall back during his beef with the rapper. Because his rebuttal would have “ended Pusha T’s career,” and “hurt families.”
Drake liked the social media post, appearing to agree that Prince’s comments are even more relevant today.
However, despite the backlash that Pusha has received after his name surfaced in the Epstein files, not everyone was so quick to jump to conclusions. Media personality Charlamagne the God said that the timeline of the transcripts makes him skeptical. That the mentioned rappers, like Push and Eminem, were ever involved.
“Do you really think Pusha T, in 2007, was hanging around Harvey Weinstein and was one of the victim’s ‘handlers’?” he asked. “In the Eminem story, the woman describes how she weighs 300 pounds, so a video of her would be easy to find. These are her words, not mine. She said this in the report… Once again, these are public hotline submissions.”
Pusha T and Drake have developed one of hip-hop’s most bitter rivalries over the years. Their feud peaked in 2018 when King Push dropped his track Story of Adidon. In the song, Pusha T reveals that Drizzy had a child with Sophie Brussaux, also known as adult film star Rosie Divine.
Pusha was declared the victor after Drake didn’t offer a response to the controversial song.
