Big Boi is the half of the legendary Southern Hip-Hop duo Outkast that stays extremely active and consistent in Hip-Hop music. Fresh off of the Big Gram project Big Boi is back with another solo album. Big Boi’s solo career has been very consistent and slightly slept on because of the fan’s desire for another Outkast album. We haven’t received a true Outkast album with Big Boi and Dre on just about every song together in 17 years. During this time Big Boi has been doing his solo thing and doing it very well. Big Boi is continuing this run with an upcoming album “Boomiverse”.
It has been confirmed that Big Boi’s first single will feature Adam Levine from Maroon 5 which will be released on the morning of April 20th. Big Boi will also be releasing a song called “Kill Jill” that features Killer Mike and Jeezy. It was reported last year that Big Boi was recording a project that was totally produced by Organized Noize. It’s not certain yet if this is that project or if they are saving that project for later. Either way it will be good to hear new music from one of Atlanta’s Kings.
