Drake is showing love to Lil Baby on Instagram. The 6 God reacted to Baby’s latest photo.
What Did Drake Do?
A screenshot posted by HotNewHipHop shows Drake liked a photo of Lil Baby posing next to a Drake poster with the caption: “I already picked my side.”
Many fans speculated this was Baby choosing to support Drake over Kendrick Lamar in their beef.
Lil Baby has never featured on a Kendrick Lamar song. He’s collaborated with Drake many times on songs such as “Wants & Needs,” “Girls Want Girls,” and “Yes Indeed,” among others.
In an interview with Charlamagne Tha God in 2024, months after Lamar dropped “Not Like Us,” Baby expressed discomfort with being named on the song.
“I ain’t really into, like, that side of Hip Hop,” Baby replied. “With any situation, like, if you and him was arguing, then why the hell you gonna say me? You know? I don’t be wanting to have nothing to do with it. Not saying whatever they got going on isn’t real or nothing, but I feel like, to me, rapping and s*** be my work. I don’t want that type of s*** ain’t work.”
Some fans have speculated the post could signal Baby is on ICEMAN, but that’s unconfirmed.
