Pooh Shiesty’s Father & Big30 Plead Not Guilty
According to a report from News Action 5 in Tennessee, Williams Sr and Big 30 have pleaded not guilty to their involvement.
To bring things up to speed, Williams Sr. and Shiesty were among several men who were arrested back in April. For their alleged role in an armed robbery back in January. The feds allege that Pooh Shiesty rounded up a group of eight other men. To confront Gucci Mane over a contract dispute. However, Gucci Mane believed it to be a meeting between him and Pooh. But instead, he was ambushed and forced to sign paperwork releasing the rapper from his record contract with 1017 Brick Squad. In addition, the men also shook down victims for thousands of dollars in luxury items. Including Gucci Mane’s wedding ring.
In April, Shiesty’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, revealed that he is withdrawing from the case. However, he said it has nothing to do with his confidence in the strength of Shiesty’s case. And said that the prosecution’s argument has a lot of “holes.”
“I still think he has a great case. Think there are a lot of holes in it,” he said in a clip shared by MyMixtapez. “I think the government has a lot of explaining to do on the case. Substituting will be Dan Kogel, who is a fantastic lawyer, and Ken Schaffer, who is also a fantastic lawyer, both from Dallas. And I think they are going to do a phenomenal job on the case.
He also added:
“I think it’s one of those cases where once you start really screwing down on the information and the facts, I think a lot is going to be coming out that is going to be beneficial to the defense. I think they’re going to do a great job. And I look forward to seeing how it winds up.”
