Uncle Murda has dragged Meek Mill into his beef with Rick Ross during a recent episode of his and Tony Yayo’s podcast, The Real Report.
Uncle Murda Drags Meek Mill Into Beef With Rick Ross
Meek Mill went mainstream during the blog era when Ross signed him and Wale to his Maybach Music Group (MMG) label back in February 2011. However, Meek left the label to go independent in 2023. But Yayo appears to insist that there was a struggle for him to get out of his deal. And says that Meek almost went the “Pooh Shiesty” route to get out of his contract.
If you’re tardy to the party, rapper Pooh Shiesty was arrested back in April. For his alleged role in an armed robbery back in January. The feds allege that Pooh Shiesty rounded up a group of eight other men. To confront Gucci Mane over a contract dispute. However, Gucci Mane believed it to be a meeting between him and Pooh. But instead, he was ambushed and forced to sign paperwork releasing the rapper from his record contract with 1017 Brick Squad.
Murda also questions how Rick Ross was accepted by the industry, given his past as a corrections officer.

As for Meek Mill? During a red carpet interview at the Fanatics Super Bowl Party in February, the Philadelphia rapper confirmed that he is now fully independent. And without the constraint of a major label, he says he plans to drop “three or four” projects in 2026.
“I’m supposed to be dropping three or four projects this year,” he said. “I’m independent. That’s why I went independent. So we could seize the game and move faster than big corporations. We can do it how we want.”
At the time of writing, Rick Ross nor Meek Mill has not responded to the comments made by Uncle Murda.
