It’s officially Iceman season. And so far it’s off to a chilly start. A leaked Drake track, 1 am in Albany, surfaced online on Thursday Night (May 13). And Drizzy did not pull any punches.
Drake Appears to Take Shots at LeBron James on Leaked Track
One of the people Drake takes shots at on the new track is Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.
“I shouldn’t even be shocked to see you in that arena, because you always made your career off of switching teams up,” Drake raps on the track.
The arena that Drake appears to be referencing is the Kia Forum in Inglewood. Where Kendrick Lamar held his Pop Out Concert in 2024 amid his feud with Drizzy. Several sources suggested that LeBron’s attendance rubbed Drake the wrong way. And the rap star all but confirmed that after he covered up his LeBron James tattoo and replaced it with a jersey of Toronto native and reigning NBA Most Valuable Player, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
On the new track, Drake seems to confirm publicly for the first time that he has cut ties with the Los Angeles Lakers star.
“Please stop asking what’s going on with 23 & me, I’m a real n****, and he’s not, it’s in my DNA,” he adds.

Of course, the shots LeBron led to an outpouring of reactions from fans on social media.
“This bro picked LeBron as his next target and went straight for the loyalty angle? Nahhh Bro,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Just cuz LeBron showed up to Kendrick Pop Out at LA…Drake lost this one fr,” a second user added.
During a recent interview with Speedy Morman of Complex, King James broke his silence about where things stand between him and Drizzy. James said that he and Drake are in “different places” at this point in their lives.
“Always wish him the best. Obviously, different places right now. He’s doing his thing. I’m doing mine. But, it’s always love for sure,” James said to Morman.
