Last month, Jim Jones reignited his feud with his former Dipset co-star Cam’ron.
Cam’ron Responds to Jim Jones’ Verzuz Challenge
With Jones still having a sour taste in his mouth from the August 2021 Verzuz between The Diplomats and the Lox, Jones challenges his long-time frenemy to a one-on-one Verzuz.
“Tell ya, man, I wanna do a [Verzuz] against him since he made us lose our last [Verzuz] at the Apollo. Ya’ll call Swizz lol Happy Memorial Day. Smoke ain’t your thing, we all know that, so let’s settle this like this,” he said in a post caught by Big_Business on X.
He also added, “Let’s settle this once and for all. We can do it right in Harlem. We know you ain’t been here in a while. But they still love you.
Cam’ron finally responded to Jim by calling him out on bad business practices.
On his Talk With Flee podcast, the former Dipset leader broke it down mathematically. Saying that he could make millions from the event if he went the independent route. Between the combinations of ticket sales, streaming costs, and sponsorships. But instead of going the independent route, he is reaching out to Swizz Beatz for assistance, only to get thousands.

Cam also insinuates that’s what happened during the Dipset vs. Lox Verzuz. And the reason that Jones claims that he backdoored the rest of the group. Cam says that Swizz tried to give all of the performers $25,000 each. But Cam negotiated for them to all get “at least $100k.
At the time of writing, Jones has not responded to Cam’ron’s comments.
