Pooh Shiesty is currently awaiting trial after being arrested on kidnapping and armed robbery charges back in April. Related to a dispute with rap star Gucci Mane.
Gucci’s Security Pleads With Judge to Keep Shiesty in Jail
Shiesty’s trial is slated to begin in February 2027. And Gucci Mane’s security guard wants to make sure that he stays there until the start of his trial.
On Thursday (June 25), an alleged letter from Gucci Mane’s security guard surfaced online. And in the letter, he pleads with the trial judge not to release Shiesty on bond. In his words, he is “extremely fearful” of Shiesty retaliating against him or his family.
“I am extremely fearful of his ability to reach me or my family if he is granted bond,” part of the letter reads as shared by SayCheeseTV on X.

The feds believe that the rap star led several men on an excursion from Memphis to Dallas to confront Gucci Mane. Shiesty led Gucci to believe that they were having a one-on-one meeting at his studio in Dallas. To amicably resolve a contract dispute and release him from his record deal with 1017 Brick Squad. But when Gucci declined, the other men blitzed him and coerced the rapper to sign the documentation, releasing him from his deal.
At least two of the men involved in the ambush have been released on bond. Rap artist Big30 and Shiesty’s father, Lontrell Williams Sr., earlier this month, a report from Bryson “Boom” Paul stated the rapper and his lawyer filed a motion for him to be granted a bond. His attorney, Kent Schaffer, says that it is time for his client to be freed. To give himself an “opportunity” to fight for his freedom.
So far, there has been no judgment on Shiesty’s motion.
