It did not take very long for Rick Ross to reply to his longtime nemesis, 50 Cent. He recently criticized Ross’s latest studio album, Set In Stone.
Rick Ross Fires Back After 50 Cent Rips His Sales Numbers
The Power creator took to social media on Wednesday (July 22). And called out Ross. Because his new album projects to move less than 2,000 units in pure album sales. In response to 50 Cent’s criticisms, Ross said that the sales numbers shouldn’t matter to “real hip-hop lovers.” All that should matter is how good the music is.
“Real Hip-Hop lovers should never get caught up in the propaganda and fake bot numbers,” Ross said as caught by AllHipHop. “True Hip-Hop lovers never get caught up in the propaganda and the fake bot numbers. Go to the product. Test it. How amazing is the music?”
Of course, with 50 Cent being one of the more influential figures on social media, his quips at Ross quickly went viral. And Ross became the subject of criticism over his projected album sales. However, Rozay says that most of the online critics are bots. And ultimately their opinions don’t matter.
“They bots. Commenting on the classic album with no posts. Who cares? I don’t,” Ross added. “Long as they spending money. Rozay putting the dope music out. That’s who fight my battles with the bots and all of that, Ross explained.”
At the time of writing, 50 Cent has not responded to the comments made by Rick Ross.
