Kodak Black has been in jail awaiting sentencing on a few charges stemming from a gun and marijuana possession arrest back in January of 2018. As of April 17th 2018 court records show that Kodak has been sentenced to serve 364 days behind bars. But he does have an opportunity to get out on good behavior, and has already served 90 days.
Police originally stormed Kodak’s home and arrested him after spotting his Instagram Live stream that showed him smoking weed and brandishing guns around a small child.
His arrest originally included charges of grand theft of a firearm, two charges of possession of a weapon or ammo by a Florida delinquent adult felon, possession of cannabis over 20 grams, child neglect without great bodily harm and two counts of parole violation. According to court documents, those violations reportedly include driving on a suspended license and “associating with people committing crimes.”
Since Kodak has already served three months in jail after being arrested in January, he could be out as early as October.
