Drake may have some people coming out and saying he stole their songs for his new albums, but he can breath easy that this artist is just joshing around. Over the weekend, Uzbekistan artist Laylo went viral for sarcastically saying Drake stole her song for “Make Them Cry.”
What Is Laylo’s Video About Drake?
On Instagram, the singer noticed that Drake’s “Make Them Cry,” used the same sample as her track “Half Blood.” While she knew they merely used the same sample and he did not bite her track, she saw it as an opportunity to poke fun at the situation. Her reel, which jokingly alleged Drake had stolen her track, instantly went viral, picking up 1.7 Million views.
She quickly got ahold of the situation, telling people in another reel that she was kidding and introducing her music and personality to her new followers.
“Welcome to all the new people out there!,” Laylo posted. “I have a lot of upcoming music, hope you will like it. Yet I can tell you that I am a slow diy artist, who is trying to make things sincerely, that’s why I prefer quality over quantity. Hope you will like my community and all the stuff happening behind the scenes.”

That Was Nice, But Drake Is Accused Of Stealing Beats From Other Artists Right?
Drake has come under fire recently by two artists who allege he bit their tracks.
First is the case of SunnyBoyFitz, a UK rapper who posted a side by side comparison of his track and Drake’s “BBW,” alleging that Drake’s team may have borrowed the structure and arrangement from his song. However, he has unlisted the reel from his profile, though you can find it in search, making it seem like he’s walking back his allegation.
One rapper not walking back his claims is 1900 Rugrat, who has been relentless in his pursuit of alleged justice. Rugrat claims that Drake’s “Little Birdie,” bites the intro from his album. He says that Drake reached out to him and wanted to hear some music. Rugrat says he sent his album to Drake and OVO really liked the intro track. However, Rugrat didn’t want them to use it, which Drake reportedly said was fine. He then allegedly said he’d send a verse to Rugrat to collaborate in the future. That verse never came, but Rugrat was in for a big surprise when he listened to Iceman and got to “Little Birdie.”
“Twin, that’s the only beat I sat down and produced, don’t rip my s*** and repitch it like that,” Rugrat said. “That’s fried. That’s fried and f***** up twin.”
Drake has not responded to any allegations or jokes at this time.
