Boosie is not happy with a law firm that reportedly offered to get him one of the most valuable assets for anyone with legal troubles. On Monday (July 13th), Boosie sounded off on people he alleges grifted him.
What Did Boosie Do?
He’s suing two individuals Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman after they promised to secure him a presidential pardon from Trump. The duo, who make up JM Burkman & Associates, allegedly told him they had close connections with Trump and could get this done.
However, in the report by Notus, who broke the story, Boosie says the contract he signed held a refund clause. In it, it’s said that the consultants “shall refund $300,000 to the client” should “a full presidential pardon for the matter” not be secured. This contract was signed by Boosie and Burkman.
On New Year’s Day, Boosie’s lawyer got a call claiming Trump had already signed the pardon. When the lawyer pressed why there hadn’t been any information yet, the lobbyists allegedly claimed that the deal would be signed shortly. TMZ reported that a White House official denied Burkman & Wohl’s role in pursuing a pardon, saying there was no record of the firm submitting a claim. They also said doing so would have hurt Boosie’s chances for a pardon more.
JM Burkman & Associates are disputing the existence of the agreement and claiming they tried everything to secure the pardon. They also claim the firm is broke after paying Millions in fines tied to other cases. Burkman and Wohl have a history of fraud, as they’ve previously been convicted of a robocall scheme targeting poor Black neighborhoods with falsifying voter information.
The lawsuit has been submitted and will look for judgment later this year.

Why Does Mr. 126 Need A Pardon?
Boosie has a long list of cases, but back in June, he got into hot water again.
The rap star allegedly smashed a glass hookah base over a bouncer’s head in an incident at Dome Nightclub in Houston.
Boosie’s lawyers have denied the allegations, saying the situation occurred out od de-escalation and self defense. The incident is under investigation. If convicted, it would be a felony assault.
If that happens, Boosie would break his probation stemming from a previous gun conviction. Feds have already recommended to revoke Boosie’s probation and sentence him to 18 months in prison as the case unfolds.
Boosie is out on bond for now, but will appear in court in September.
