Bow Wow Gets Candid About His Relationship With Omarion
With the 90s babies excited to relive their childhoods on the Millenium Tour this year, one fan suggested that the time has finally come for Omarion and Bow Wow to reconnect. However, Bow Wow coldly declined. During a recent interview on Cam Newton’s Funky Friday he explained why there isn’t a need for him and Omarion to reconnect.
“It’s complicated. I don’t want to talk (to him),” Bow Wow said. “It’s nothing to talk about, not even in a bad way.”
The catalyst that led to Omarion and Bow Wow falling out remains a mystery. And Bow Wow still has not expounded on that part of the story. But he did say that he tried to resolve things with Omarion, and the former B2K star gave him the cold shoulder in response.
“It’s just when you lend your hand out and you try to be the bigger person—and try to rap—but you get no response,” he explained. “You go, ‘OK we’ll leave it right here.’ You do your thing, I do my thing, it ain’t no beef.”
However, despite getting left on read, Bow Wow said that he still wishes Omarion the best. He noted the priceless moments that the two of them created when they were on speaking terms when they were at the height of their careers. But now that they are adults there is no need to harp on the negative.
“We’ve been through this thing for so long,” he added. “He’s 40 and I’m 38. We don’t have to do that now. We got kids, we got our own lives. I wish you nothing but the best. The best revenge is time, you don’t even gotta do much.”
