TMZ reported on Thursday, October 26, that Gunplay has found himself incarcerated in the Miami-Dade County Jail due to a violation of the restraining order involving his estranged wife, Vonshae Taylor-Morales. According to sources, the rapper’s GPS ankle monitor triggered an alert, leading to his detention on Wednesday, October 25, near Vonshae’s residence. The Florida Department of Corrections Community Control was promptly alerted to his proximity, and Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene before Gunplay could have any interaction with Vonshae and her child. Notably, this incident marks the eighth time that Gunplay has breached the restraining order. He was formally booked on Wednesday at 7:10 pm.
Gunplay is expected to remain in custody until his next court appearance scheduled for November 7. A2HH has reached out to the Miami-Dade police department for additional comments.
