Jay-Z is coming full force in the celebration of his 1996 album, Reasonable Doubt.
Jay-Z to Host Interactive Pop Ups to Celebrate ‘Reasonable Doubt’
According to Complex, Roc Nation has curated two pop-up activations in New York City to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his debut album.
The pop-ups will take place this Thursday, June 25, in DUMBO in Brooklyn and New York City. And it will be completely free to the public.
Reasonable Doubt had a lackluster commercial start. Selling just 43,000 in its first week and initially peaking at the number 23 spot on the Billboard Charts.
But over the years, it has become a hot commodity because of its cultural relevance. It has become known as the album that launched Jay-Z into musical immortality. Back in May 2025, the album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
This is just the latest development in Jay-Z’s celebration of his 1996 album. He is also set to perform selections from the project in July during the first of three sold-out shows at New York’s Yankee Stadium.
In addition, the Brooklyn rap artist will perform two more shows this fall. One at Paris’ Stade de France on September 10 and Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on Oct. 23.
Hov has already performed once this summer. At the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia back in May. And he set the rap industry on fire when he performed a new freestyle during his performance. Where he appeared to call out the likes of Drake, Dame Dash, Nicki Minaj, Tory Lanez, and Others.
