Kanye West Takes Shots at Jay-Z
On March 18th, he attacked the power couple’s two youngest children, twins Sir and Rumi. In a now-deleted Tweet, the All of The Lights hitmaker suggested that the children have special needs.
“Wait has anyone ever seen Jay-Z and Beyonce’s younger kids they’re r*******,” he tweeted Tuesday. “No like literally and this is why artificial insemination is such a blessing having r******* children is a choice.”
West quickly deleted the post after posting it. However, the damage had already been done. So what did Kanye do? He doubled down on his decision, saying that he regretted ever deleting the post.
“Concerning the Jay Z and Beyoncé tweet n***** said I would regret it,” he said. “I regret taking it down… my Twitter is a one-way conversation.”
West eventually re-uploaded the post. He noted that the catalyst for him doing so, was that he wanted to make a point that nobody can control him.
“If Twitter takes my s**t down them so be it but I need y’all to no Jay-Jay Z or nobody has no power over me.”
Jay-Z and Kanye have a long history together. It was Jay-Z along with Dame Dash who gave him his start as a producer at the famed Roc-A-Fella Records. During his time he produced some of Jay-Z’s top hits such as Lucifer, Poppin Tags, and Izzo. Even after Roc-A-Fella was bought by Def Jam Jay kept Ye by his side and was pivotal in making the move from being a producer to being an artist.
