Lil Wayne is insisting that his former assistant take a medical exam to set the record straight in his lawsuit alleging assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, among other things, against the rapper.

On Tuesday (October 17), Radar Online obtained legal documents confirming that Andrew Williams has agreed to undergo an independent evaluation by a doctor per Lil Wayne’s demand.
The clinical screening aims for full transparency on his injury and medical history. This will involve investigating his psychiatric track record and history of substance abuse, if any.
Since the case was filed, Wayne has maintained his innocence and claimed self-defense for allegedly punching his ex-employee in the jaw.
Last year, Williams sued Wayne, Young Money Entertainment and a company called Signature Flight Support for unspecified damages. The incident allegedly occurred on June 10, 2022, when he booked the 41-year-old MC a private plane.
Once aboard, Wayne apparently started arguing with the pilot. When Williams stepped in to try and diffuse the conflict before it turned physical, his boss apparently didn’t appreciate the interjection. As a result, he turned to him and allegedly socked him in the face.
“The combination of a closed fist and the numerous rings and large jewelry on the hands of [Wayne] caused great harm to [Williams],” the court docs read.
Williams said he sought medical attention at a local urgent care following the punch, and that the only follow-up he received from Lil Wayne and Young Money was reportedly a letter telling him to return a missing Bluetooth speaker and company backpack.
According to the original court documents, he is also suing the defendant for wrongful termination and negligence.
