Ragers beware. Travis Scott is back in album mode. And based on a new interview with Rolling Stone, it sounds like La Flame is cooking up a classic.
Travis Scott Gives Insight On His Next Album
During a recent sit-down with the outlet, the Astroworld creator said that he is coming differently on his next project. He vowed to put his “heart and soul” into the forthcoming album.
“Putting my whole body and soul into the next [project], for more people to understand,” he said of his next album. As for who those people are, he said, “The person that still doesn’t understand Trav no matter how long I’ve been in this sh*t.”
Travis also gave his fans an inside look at the creative process that goes into creating his music. Noting that it starts with having a “full vision.”
“When I make the music, I have this full vision,” he continued. “I see it going down. I’m thinking stadium status. How could people so far away feel so close? How can the music be so big but grounded? Taking raw elements and making them feel euphoric. Man, finding new rhythms, but nothing too hard to take in. You know what I’m saying? A level of what Rodeo is like on the ultra-scale stadium life.”
Travis’ most recent album, Jackboys 2, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in July 2025 with approximately 232,000 to 233,000 album-equivalent units, including strong pure sales of around 160,000. It will be interesting to see if his new albums can put up similar numbers.
