Rapper Tay-K isn’t going to let a prison cell stop him from dropping new music. In a post shared by Kurrco on X, the incarcerated artist teases fans and lets them know that he has new music that is set to drop tomorrow (June 11).
Tay K Hints At New Song Releasing in June
As rumors of a potential release begin to ramp up, Tay K recently released an A.I. video of himself getting out of federal custody. But in another post, Tay-K makes it clear to fans that this new song won’t feature any artificial intelligence.
“Love ya’ll #RR4L. We finna push this creative s**t in a new direction. Every time they try to confine us to some circumstances or write our destiny, we find a new creative way 2 use it as ammunition. And emerge more explosive with more intention and a trillion more crazy ideas,” he wrote in the post. “Without AI, of course. F**k AI, I don’t like it. That AI Tay K s**t was lame anyway, s**t ain’t even have no bars for real.”
The video led to a lot of backlash. Mainly toward his manager for releasing the video on the rapper’s social media page. But Tay-K says that it was he behind the release of the AI video. And encourages them to direct their anger to the people who forgot about him.

Rumors of Tay-K’s release began to gain traction after Tay-K’s sister, Kayla Beverly, shared a video that went viral. In the video, she appeared to be on the phone with the rapper’s attorney. While the video does not disclose what was said during the phone call, it was enough to give her hope.

After she disconnects the call, she turns to a woman, presumed to be Tay-K’s mother, and says, “Your son is coming home.”
She captions the post: “I’ve been holding so much in, but just know those prayers have been getting answered fr thank you God… my brother’s story is not over #freetayk.”
No word on whether the rapper will actually be freed before his August 2099 release date. But fans will have
