Last year Cardi B and Bruno Mars teamed up on Mars’ “Finesse” remix, the duo reunited for a Valentine’s Day release, the steamy new track “Please Me.”
The track is both artists’ first release of 2019, with its classic R&B more similar to Mars’ brand of smooth love songs than Cardi’s recent releases.
Both stars get sensual in the track’s lyrics, with Cardi namedropping Jodeci.
After previously deactivating her Instagram Monday after facing post-Grammys backlash from trolls who claimed she didn’t deserve her win for best rap album, Cardi returned to IG on Wednesday to tease the new track.
