Cardi Addresses Backlash After Pardison Fontaine Feature
The femcees have become close friends in the industry. Especially after their 2020 smash hit “WAP” tore up the charts. So you might see why Megan’s fans took offense to her collabing with Megan’s most recent ex, Pardison Fontaine.
Pardi released a snippet of his new single ‘Toot it up’ which features the Bronx, femcee. Which was much to the chagrin of Megan’s fans. Especially after the rap star hinted that Pardi cheated on her 2023 single, “Cobra.” Cardi took to X Spaces to address the backlash from fans.
“I wanna make this very clear. When I f–k with two people and I like two people, I stay away from their s–t,” the Invasion of Privacy artist said.
“Because when it comes to relationships, some b——t will always happen and one thing about me – I’m gonna stay neutral and I’m gonna stay the f–k out of it. And both of y’all can attest to that that’s how I really am.”
It is also worth noting that Cardi has a long history with Pardi that started long before Megan had made her mark in the rap game. Her verse on Pardi’s 2019 single “Backin it Up,” was one that helped catapult her to superstardom.
Cardi also added that regardless of what differences Pardi and Megan may have today, she is remaining neutral on both sides.
“I don’t wanna hear nothing because I f–k with both of y’all and God forbid some s–t happens, I don’t want to be in the middle of nobody s–t. None of that s–t is my f—–g business. So stop f—–g harassing me, stop calling me a f—–d up person, stop calling me a f–k b—h because that’s not what I am.”
