Hours after the “leak” of Drake’s fiery track Push Ups (Drop Down and Give Me 50), former friend and frequent collaborator Rick Ross jumped into the fray, firing targeted bars at Drake. While the source of the feud remains unknown, internet sleuths figured beef was brewing when Rozay unfollowed Drake on IG after the release of the Future and Metro Boomin record ‘Like That’ that featured a verse squarely aiming Drizzy and J Cole. Over the better part of a decade and a half, the artists featured on songs such as “I’m On One”, “Diced Pineapples” and “Stay Schemin” had a unique musical chemistry, so much in fact that there was persistent talk that a collaboration between them was in the works. With the recent turn of events, it seems Drake and Rick Ross have entered a new phase of their Hip Hop connection, the battle.
