Pete Davidson Compares Kanye West to a ‘Gay Nazi’ During Kevin Hart Roast With The Rapper in Attendance

Netflix hosted the official roast of comedian Kevin Hart on Sunday Night (May 10). And as is the case with most roasts, some of the jokes toed the line between comedy and disrespect. Kanye West found that out the hard way.

Peter Davidson Shades Kanye West During Kevin Hart Roast

During the roast, Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson aimed at fellow roaster Tony Hinchcliffe, and the Grammy-winner caught a stray in the process.

“Tony, nothing you say tonight will hurt my feelings,” he said in a clip shared by Kurrco on X. “I was in a beef with Kanye, so I’ve taken shots from better gay Nazis.”

To make things even spicier, Ye was apparently in the building when Davison told the joke.

Ye and Davidson have a documented history of issues. Dating back to early 2022, when the comedian began dating West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Following Davidson’s relationship with Kim Kardashian. West heavily criticized Davidson, nicknamed him “Skete,” and made threatening posts on social media.

That wasn’t the only viral moment that Hinchcliffe was involved in. The other came when Hincliffe used the platform to make a joke about George Floyd.

“The Black community is so proud of you… right now George Floyd is looking up at us all, laughing so hard he can’t breathe,” he said.

Of course, the moment went viral on social media, and fans exploded with reactions.

“White people’s obsession with George Floyd and the Obamas has to be studied,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Dave Chappelle said a lot of those white comedians who stick to a racist shtick are NOT joking and I will not believe that,” a second user added.

George Floyd was a victim of police brutality. After Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin infamously knelt on Floyd’s neck for nearly eight minutes, causing him to pass away from lack of oxygen. Chauvin was found guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter in April 2021, resulting in a 22.5-year sentence.
