Lil Baby is fresh off a new project called WHAM which he dropped in February of this year. Quavo on the other hand has not dropped a solo project since he dropped his “Rocket Power” album in August 2023. It will be interesting to see what the rap duo has in store for fans.
Quavo began his rap career as one-third of the famed rap group, the Migos. Unfortunately, the Migos parted ways following the murder of group member Takeoff in November 2022. The rap star was killed after an altercation in a bowling alley in Houston, Texas. All three group members were like brothers. However, Takeoff and Quavo had a special bond as nephew and uncle. Following Takeoff’s murder in 2022, Quavo revealed that sometimes he still “cries himself to sleep.”
“I miss him a lot and I love him,” Quavo said. “He knows I love him. That’s what we always know. So when you see me and you see me smiling or something like that, you don’t gotta never think I forgot about him or I’ll forget about him. I think about him all the time. Sometimes I cry myself to sleep. And that’s it. I just know he’s here. If I can’t feel him, I just know he’s around.”
